Metamorphosis

These are some pages from the book I published, originally by Franz Kafka, translated by Ian Johnston, copy edited and designed by myself. This is a dark novel about a man who wakes up as an insect. The story gets increasingly morose which is highlighted by the type and layout designs. I was inspired by artist Carl Krull when creating the front and back covers, where line art is used to create 3D figures in eerie ways.
